Is Gamestop going the way of the Dinosaur?

Is big box used game purchasing on the decline? Gamestop has always held a close place in my heart when it comes to buying used videogames, in fact, one of my first and fondest memories of gaming is when I purchased a used Sega Saturn at Gamestop for $70 USD. For many years Gamestop has been the go-to place to purchase all your new and used games, but the formula is being challenged.

With the advent of the internet, online gaming retailers are making it  easier for gamers like us to get better deals on used games. As an example, I will talk about Halo 4.
